With the new OCTAGON SX88 SE 4K UHD S2+IP you get an IPTV box with Linux operating system, quad-core 64-bit CPU and razor-sharp sharp 4K resolution. Now also with browser support. The box is characterized by powerful hardware and a wide range of entertainment options. It supports all common functions that a modern IPTV box must have.
Hardware: the technology under the hood of the OCTAGON SX88 SE 4K UHD S2+IP
The engine room of the OCTAGON SX88 SE 4K contains the latest hardware, which can be used to meet almost all of your IPTV requirements. A Hisilicon 64-bit processor is installed as well as a multi-core graphics processor. The 1 gigabyte of RAM and the 4 gigabyte eMMC flash memory take up additional space on the circuit board. This equipment not only ensures smooth playback of your 4K content, but also fast boot times and fast navigation within the multilingual menus.
4K resolution and HDR10
With the OCTAGON SX88 SE 4K UHD S2+IP receiver, you can enjoy your content in pin-sharp 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with 3840 x 2160 pixels. Furthermore, the SX88 4K E2TV Multiroom TV client system from Enigma2 devices offers both HDR10 and HLG support. The SX88 4K decodes the content in the HEVC/H.265 standard, which helps to protect your bandwidth, among other things. The OCTAGON SX88 SE 4K supports standards such as H.264 or AVS and VP9 as well as almost all video, audio and image formats.
Entertainment functions and other features of the small S2+IPTV box
The OCTAGON SX88 SE 4K comes with the extremely popular and easy-to-use Linux operating system. This allows you to benefit from the possibility of constantly expanding the entertainment offer. Numerous free apps such as YouTube, Stalker, WebTV, media libraries and numerous popular browser media players are available for this purpose. There are almost no limits to entertainment enjoyment and you will get your money's worth as an IPTV, series or film fan!
Interface variety and connectivity
OCTAGON has given the SX88 SE 4K UHD S2+IP the most common interfaces and thus ensured high connectivity of the IPTV box. There are two USB ports on both sides of the S2+IPTV box, one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 port. On the back of the streaming client you will also find an HDMI 2.0a connection, an S/PDIF interface, an Ethernet LAN connection and a DVB-S2 satellite tuner. An integrated card reader and a connection for the included external IR receiver are also installed.
